ABOUT ME

 

My name is Lola. I go by the publishing name BLACK INK.  I choose this option in order to add an edge to my writings. Enough of that ! 

 

I am a solemn girl from Dublin, Ireland. I have been writing since I was 10. I write poems, short stories and Novels. At age 14, I wrote my poem "Banking" which won the top award from the top five schools in West Africa.

 

Since then, I have been focused on Poetry.  Some of my poems over the years include critically acclaimed "Oh Glory " "No Hearts"  "Breathe with Me". Some of my most recent work include " See the Devil Calling me a TroubleMaker" and I am currently writing "The Old House at BlackHall Place" which is inspired by BlackHall Place, a stop I go by every morning and I have been travelling through it for one year now.

 

 

I have not wriiten any books officially. I intend however to release my collection of motivational quotes titled "Eye Lens" which will be available for preorder on 15.08.2015. It will also be released in Africa and Asia too under the same title.
